NEW ORLEANS – The James Beard Foundation awarded Arnaud’s French 75 Bar last week for its outstanding bar program. To celebrate, Arnaud’s, 813 Bienville St., invites guests to the Happiest Happy Hour on Friday, May 12, showing off its award-winning cocktails by head bartender Chris Hannah. The bar will be offering half priced French 75s, Old Fashioneds and select wines, along with complimentary hors d’oeuvres from 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, May 13, starting at 5:30 p.m., Arnaud’s continues its tradition of celebrating World Cocktail Day by featuring two specialty cocktails. For $8, guests in the dining room and bar can toast to the holiday with the “Roffignac” or “Big Freedia Bounce.”
