NEW ORLEANS – Applications are due Tuesday, Oct. 3 for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program – a program for small businesses that links learning to action.
Through the program, participants will gain practical skills in topics such as negotiation, marketing and employee management that can immediately be put into action, reps said. In addition, they will receive the tools and professional support they need to develop a strategic and customized business growth plan that will take their company to the next level.
The program is a $500 million investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital and business support services. The 10,000 Small Businesses program currently operates in 19 markets in the U.S. through a network of more than 100 academic and community partners, and the program continues to expand on a city-by-city basis.
