NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Applications are being accepted for the state program that provides private school tuition vouchers for some students.
The program provides government tuition money for students from low- or moderate-income Louisiana families if those students otherwise would attend low-performing public schools. Those meeting the income eligibility requirements and currently attending a school that has a state performance grade of C, D or F can apply.
The application process opened this week. The deadline is Feb. 26.
