Check out these stats! Long before the Saints hit the field, there’s work to be done at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Fourteen workers spread into three teams each take a color and work together to make sure the field has that black, gold and white “Who Dat” flair. The paint is then carefully touched up between every game.
Over the course of 10 Saints games, two Bowl games, the Bayou Classic and three days of high school football championships, approximately 800 gallons of latex-based removable synthetic turf paint hits the field.
