American Cancer Society To Host 15th Annual Belles & Beaus Ball

NEW ORLEANS – The American Cancer Society (ACS) will host its 15th Annual Belles & Beaus Ball of New Orleans on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Mardi Gras World.

Attendees will enjoy an elegant dinner, late-night dancing, a spectacular live and silent auction, and much more, all benefiting the ACS and their mission to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

This year’s theme is Stayin’ Alive and will feature performances by the 610 Stompers and local band Karma. Artist Terrance Osborne will also be in attendance, putting the final touches on a painting that will be auctioned off during the event. Additional auction items include a suite for a 2015-16 Pelicans game and a private dinner party hosted by Celebrity Chef Jewel Robinson. The silent auction will include state-of-the-art interactive mobile bidding, with Chuck Mutz serving as the auctioneer for the live auction. There will also be food offerings from more than 60 New Orleans’ restaurants.

“Cancer affects us all in some way, shape or form,” said Kelli Towers, manager of corporate relations at ACS. “The Belles & Beaus Ball is an opportunity for friends, family, caregivers and survivors to join the fight and help the American Cancer Society in its goal of saving lives by helping people stay well, get well and fight back.”
