NEW ORLEANS – Aloft New Orleans Downtown has announced the completion of an interior renovation led by Pinnacle South. The project includes a redesign of the lobby and updates to the guestrooms, guest corridors and fitness center.
“This renovation breathes new life into the Aloft New Orleans Downtown and we can’t wait to showcase the refreshed and modernized spaces that reflect the dynamic spirit of the city,” said Adam Gaudry, the hotel’s general manager, in a press release. “We are looking forward to welcoming guests both new and returning to our hotel as we head into a busy year here in New Orleans.”
Pinnacle’s redesign led to a new front desk, new seating and new wallcoverings in the open-concept lobby. The space now features a custom floor-to-ceiling mural inspired by New Orleans music.
The hotel’s W XYZ Bar & Lounge, adjacent to the lobby and reception desk, serves craft cocktails, draft beer and “light bites.” The space includes a live music stage, overhead LED lighting, a pool table and tabletop games. There’s grab-and-go dining nearby at the 24-hour Re:fuel market.
The hotel’s 188 renovated guest rooms feature the same pinks, oranges and blues from the lobby. Bright teal carpeting and wood flooring was installed along with new lounge and desk chairs, reupholstered benches and colorful pillows. The bathrooms received fresh paint and wall coverings. The guest room corridors have updated ceiling paint and light fixtures.
The hotel’s fitness center was upgraded with new flooring, wall coverings and paint. The heated rooftop pool also received new furniture.
