NEW ORLEANS – The stylish, tech-driven Starwood brand adds its 7th hotel to the New Orleans market as Aloft and HRI Properties host a grand opening of Aloft New Orleans on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at 225 Baronne St.
Ribbon cutting and comments will begin at 5:15 p.m.
The event to launch the CBD hotel will include champagne toasts, food, music, art, history, with a special time capsule, and an online raffle to support the Louisiana SPCA.
There will be hotel tours of guest rooms and event spaces, live music by Luxley and a live art demonstration by Mike Destructive whose art will become a permanent installation in the hotel.
Scheduled to attend are Tom Leonard, President and COO, HRI Properties, Gary Gutierrez, President, HRI Lodging, Rebecca Conwell, Senior Advisor Economic Development to Mayor Landrieu and David Aupied, Senior Director of Franchise Development, Starwood.
