
NEW ORLEANS – Aloft New Orleans has announced the appointment of Sebastian Westbrook as the new Director of Sales & Marketing, bringing over a decade of travel sales and hospitality experience to the company.
“I’m honored to join the Aloft New Orleans team as director of sales & marketing,” said Westbrook. “New Orleans has been such an important part of my hospitality career, so stepping into this role feels especially meaningful. Aloft has an incredible energy and personality, and I’m excited to build new relationships, support the hotel’s continued growth, and create opportunities that connect guests more deeply to the city and its culture.”
Westbrook joins Aloft New Orleans from Element New Orleans Downtown where he held the role of Sales Manager and led inbound group opportunities, executed proactive solicitation efforts, and secured new business.
Prior to this, Westbrook served as Business Travel Specialist at Marriott International, where he spent nearly six years partnering with Business Travel Account Managers on account launches and supporting revenue growth and market penetration across high-demand regions.
In these positions, Westbrook developed tailored proposals and identified upsell opportunities.

Aloft New Orleans near the French Quarter opened in March 2015 with 188 guest rooms. Described as utilizing an eclectic design, the hotel includes a heated rooftop pool and poolside urban patio, six event rooms and 24-hour fitness center along with the on-site W XYZ Bar.
