On June 22 the Maersk Kawasaki made a stop at the Port of New Orleans. The 1,044-foot container vessel is one of the largest vessels calling the Port regularly as part of the 2M Alliance Maersk formed with Mediterranean Shipping Company.
The vessel, which has a maximum TEU capacity of 7,908, was worked at the Napoleon Avenue Container Terminal by New Orleans Terminal.
