NEW ORLEANS — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today launches new seasonal service to New Orleans from Concord, NC. To celebrate Allegiant’s new service, the company is offering one-way fares on the new route for as low as $53.*

The new route will operate twice weekly and expand on the service that Allegiant currently operates to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). With this new route, Allegiant will now fly from ten cities into New Orleans. The new route will bring more than 18,000 additional visitors each year to the New Orleans area. Airline reps said Allegiant’s innovative business model has allowed it to grow from one plane and one route to offering access to low-cost flights in over 100 cities nationwide, more than any other domestic low-cost carrier. Allegiant offers a unique option to travelers with low base fares averaging less than half the cost of domestic round-trip tickets purchased in 2015.
