NEW ORLEANS — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) celebrates the debut of low-cost, nonstop flights to New Orleans, the carrier’s newest destination. Seasonal service between New Orleans and Cincinnati, Columbus and Indianapolis, and year-round service to Orlando, kicked-off today, just in time for travelers to experience Mardi Gras. In celebration of its arrival in New Orleans, Allegiant, known for its affordable and convenient travel deals, will offer introductory one-way fares as low as $66*.

With four routes and eight flights a week, we expect to bring a significant number of new visitors to experience all that NOLA has to offer.”

Seasonal service to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) from:
• Cincinnati, OH – Feb. 4, 2015, through May 5, 2015, with fares as low as $66* one way.
• Columbus, OH – Feb. 5, 2015, through April 8, 2015, with fares as low as $73* one way.
• Indianapolis, IN – Feb. 5, 2015, through May 5, 2015, with fares as low as $85* one way.
Year-round service to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) from:
• Orlando, FL. – Feb. 5, 2015, through Aug. 17, 2015, with fares as low as $66* one way.
The new flights will all operate twice weekly. Allegiant’s service will be the only nonstop option connecting these major metropolitan areas to New Orleans. The new flights will bring nearly 30,000 visitors each year, generating an estimated additional $13.5 million for the city.
