VIOLET, LA – AgMagic on the River is an interactive, educational event where kids and families can experience agricultural life.
On Saturday, May 7, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., it will be free and open to the public.
The event is being hosted by the Meraux Foundation on its Docville Farm, just 15 minutes from downtown New Orleans, at 5124 E. St Bernard Highway, in Violet, LA.

Visitors can walk through several barns to see farm animals, plants, wildlife, fish, forests and food. Docville also has an observation deck where attendees can view the Mississippi River.
