Established in 1980, AFP Greater New Orleans includes more than 200 professional fundraisers and others who work in nonprofit management. AFP Greater New Orleans is part AFP International, an association of professionals throughout the world that strives to advance philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising. Core activities include education, training, mentoring, research, credentialing and advocacy.
