Advantage Capital Names Newest Managing Directors

 

NEW ORLEANS — Brian Anderson, Tom Bitting and Franchesca Lorio are the newest managing directors at Advantage Capital, a private equity investment firm with an office in New Orleans.

“As we continue to grow and expand the scope of our operations and impact, strong leadership is essential,” said Steven Stull, the firm’s president. “We are thrilled to name and announce these new additions to our senior leadership team, as each will play a prominent part in advancing and accelerating our investment strategy.”

Brian Anderson will continue his role as a leading member of the firm’s Investment Group, helping to guide deal sourcing efforts, and provide strategic oversight, due diligence and valuation analysis for current and prospective investments. Anderson is also the investment lead for the firm’s Empower the Change Fund—a growth equity fund dedicated to investing in underserved communities and increasing growth opportunities for minority-owned businesses.  

As a founding member of Advantage Capital’s renewable energy investment platform—which raised $1.2 billion in capital commitments last year–Tom Bitting leads on all aspects of investments, origination, and the asset management process for renewable energy funds. Bitting also serves as a member of the renewables Investment Committee.

Franchesca Lorio provides leadership in all aspects of the firm’s accounting and financial management across all business lines. Additionally, she directs the firm’s information management systems and has overall responsibility for periodic reporting to the firm’s investors, lenders and other various stakeholders.
