
NEW ORLEANS — Lisa Gibson joins investment firm Advantage Capital as vice president of tax credit consulting. She will help lead its partner services business line, which provides consulting services to clients seeking to participate in New Market Tax Credit programs designed to drive investment in underserved areas.
“We are excited to welcome Lisa to the team,” said Jonathan Goldstein, managing director, Advantage Capital. “With impressive and extensive experience, she will be integral in accelerating our ability to help qualified clients execute on their impact investing ambitions.”
Gibson will focus on compliance and asset management of NMTC loan funds and standalone transactions within the firm’s partner services portfolio.
Prior to joining Advantage Capital, she began her career as a tax accountant for KPMG. Most recently, she served as director of compliance and asset management for Cherry Bekaert (formerly Tax Advantage Group), where she managed a $680 million portfolio of NMTC transactions.

Gibson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Louisiana State University.
