NEW ORLEANS, LA — HCA’s MidAmerica Division has named Nick Adams, a healthcare executive with more than 15 years’ leadership experience, its associate vice president of marketing and public relations for its hospitals in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Adams will provide marketing oversight and support for Louisiana facilities Tulane Health System in New Orleans, Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria and Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette, as well as Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, Mississippi.
“We are excited to have Nick join our team and lead our hospitals’ growth initiatives,” said Ashlee Peterson, vice president of marketing and public relations for the HCA MidAmerica Division. “We have a strong network of HCA hospitals in this region, and we look forward to Nick’s efforts to tell our hospitals’ stories, as well as our HCA story.”
HCA provides healthcare services with locally managed facilities including more than 160 hospitals across 20 states and England.
Adams most recently served as the vice president of marketing and public relations for Wesley Healthcare in Wichita, KS, in HCA’s Continental Division. Adams joined Wesley in 2013, where he led a new branding strategy for the health system and developed the marketing and branding strategy for the new Wesley Children’s Hospital.

Prior to Wesley, Adams worked for Wellmont Health System in Kingsport, Tennessee, and as an editor and reporter for several publications.
