NEW ORLEANS – Adams and Reese litigation attorney Timothy M. Brinks has been selected to participate in the Leadership Jefferson Class of 2017. The nine-month intensive leadership program, created by the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, develops a diverse network of dedicated business and community leaders in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana and the Greater New Orleans region.
The Leadership Jefferson program consists of seven interactive workshops exploring issues such as quality of life, health care, economic development, education, diversity, governance and community involvement. The program also offers participants networking opportunities, enhanced understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Jefferson Parish, and an opportunity to become more actively involved in working to improve the quality of life in the parish and Greater New Orleans.
At Adams and Reese, Brinks is a litigation associate practicing in the firm’s New Orleans office. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, insurance defense, D&O liability, and appellate practice. He joined the firm in 2012.
Brinks is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association. He has volunteered pro bono legal and notary services at the Harry Tompson Rebuild Center, a New Orleans-based homeless outreach nonprofit, since 2012. Brinks is also a member of the Lakeview Civic Improvement Association and previously served on the Boys Hope Girls Hope Junior Board.
