NEW ORLEANS – Adams and Reese had 18 practice areas ranked nationally among Top Tier practice areas and 155 practice areas ranked among metropolitan areas in the newly released 2017 “Best Law Firms” rankings, furnished by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers®. The annual list, now in its seventh consecutive year, awarded law firm rankings in a total of 74 national practice areas and 122 metropolitan practice areas.
Along with its 18 nationally recognized practice areas, Adams and Reese had 66 practice areas ranked as Metropolitan Tier One, 52 areas ranked among Metropolitan Tier Two and 37 areas ranked as Metropolitan Tier Three. The firm had a total of 173 practice areas ranked in the 2017 report.
To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top 4 percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S. Adams and Reese had 117 attorneys ranked in the 2017 Best Lawyers® edition.
