Adams And Reese Partner Stein Receives CEDS Certification

NEW ORLEANS – Adams and Reese attorney David M. Stein, a litigation partner in the firm’s New Orleans office, has earned a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) certification through the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), a division of leading legal education provider BARBRI Bar Review. With a CEDS credential, Stein is certified to manage and perform complex, efficient, defensible and cost-effective e-discovery at the onset of litigation matters.

The ACEDS CEDS certification is awarded to individuals after passing a rigorous independent examination covering best practices in complex e-discovery processes such as project planning, litigation hold implementation, document review, data processing, budgeting and others. The certification validates mastery and skill in e-discovery through a scientifically verifiable standard. Stein joins a growing list of CEDS-certified professionals at many leading law firms and organizations in the U.S.

Stein is a partner on the Adams and Reese Litigation Practice Team. He focuses his practice on a variety of litigation matters including complex commercial litigation, toxic tort, medical malpractice defense and intellectual property. Stein is also a registered patent attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has previously taught CLEs tailored around various e-discovery topics.
