NEW ORLEANS – The North American Tire & Retread Expo is bringing an estimated 2,500 tire industry professionals to New Orleans for this second annual ultimate tire event from Tuesday, April 19, through Thursday, April 21, 2016, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Halls C-D.
Registration is free for all tire and retread industry members including tire dealers, wholesalers and distributors.
Educational Conferences by Tire Business and training sessions will take place throughout the event and more than 95 companies will be exhibiting tires and tire-related products.
Retreaders can once again compete in the Miss Retread Truck Tire in the mold cured or pre-cured categories for their chance to win $2,500. New this year is the Mr. OTR Radial Retread Tire Contest. The company that presents the most beautiful OTR retread tire will win $5,000.
The North American Tire & Retread Expo is a tire show presented by tire dealers for tire and retread tire manufacturers and dealers. All major tire and retread rubber and equipment manufacturers are invited to exhibit at the expo and have the opportunity to connect with dealers and clients.
The inaugural Expo was held in New Orleans in 2015 and is slated to return annually through 2018. This year’s Expo is projected to have an economic impact of nearly $6 million.
