Washington Mardi Gras

In January, the Jefferson Chamber joined more than 2,000 people from Louisiana at the annual Washington Mardi Gras event, a festive weekend in Washington D.C. that celebrates Louisiana’s culture. Attendees had the opportunity to network with top business leaders and the Louisiana Congressional delegations for three days of networking and economic development, complete with a side of revelry, elegant celebration, and fun!

Annual Meeting

The Jefferson Chamber hosted its 2025 Annual Meeting, presented by Ochsner Health, on Friday, January 10 at the Alario Center in Westwego. One of the Chamber’s largest networking and social events attended by elected officials and leaders from diverse industries, the Annual Meeting celebrates the exciting initiatives, events, and advocacy throughout the Jefferson Parish community during the past year. The impressive crowd featuring approximately 600 guests heard from Gayle Benson, Owner of the New Orleans Saints and Governor of the New Orleans Pelicans, Beth Walker of Ochsner Health for presenting sponsor remarks, Executive Director David Payton of Goldman Sachs, as well as 2024 Board Chair Ryan Rodrigue of HUB International Gulf South and 2025 Chair Nora Vaden Holmes.

During the awards ceremony of the event, the Emerging Leader Award, presented by The Engraving Company, was received by Michael Flowers for his leadership and commitment to the Chamber and as a committee member with the Jefferson Chamber Young Professionals. Johnny Domiano of Adams & Reese received the Chairman’s Award in appreciation for his positive contributions and dedicated service to the Chamber, while Marcel Lashover with One Stop Financial Group received the Ambassador of the Year Award.


Crawfish Boil

On Friday, May 9, the Jefferson Chamber hosted its 27th annual Crawfish Boil, presented by The Zito Group. Over 700 guests, including large and small business owners and representatives and elected officials, gathered for 2,000 pounds of top-notch crawfish, Cajun cuisine, beverages, music, outdoor entertainment, and outstanding networking opportunities.


Black & Gold Gala

The Jefferson Chamber’s Black & Gold Gala, presented by CF Industries, was held on Friday, March 21 at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie. The extravagant evening offered guests an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, catered food options, live entertainment, and a silent auction with a curated selection of local gifts and certificates, as well as domestic and international travel opportunities.


Golf Classic

On Thursday, November 20, the Chamber’s 26th Annual Golf Classic, presented by CF Industries, teed off at TPC Louisiana, home to the state’s only PGA TOUR event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Limited to 144 players, members enjoyed a day on the links with business friends, clients, Jefferson Chamber leadership, and key decision-makers in the community. The outing was held in a shotgun-style tournament using all 18 holes for play, while participants enjoyed a light breakfast, coffee, brunch cocktails, and engaging business vendors and restaurants stationed around the course.


IGNITE Young Professionals Leadership Summit

On Thursday, November 6th, the Jefferson Chamber Young Professionals hosted the inaugural IGNITE Young Professionals Leadership Summit, presented by Nora Vaden Holmes & Barcley J. Steib Insurance Agencies.  The summit featured presentations from Jerry Bologna, President & CEO of JEDCO, an “Ask the Executives” panel featuring Meghan Donelon from Red River Bank, Sunni LeBeouf from Cox Communications, Kelly Haynie from Ochsner – West Bank Campus, and Brian Moldaner from T. Baker Smith, a presentation from Julie Couret, Executive Coach with Exit Momentum, and a keynote from Lauren Haydel, Founder & CEO of Fleurty Girl. Attendees also had the opportunity to take a professional headshot, provided by Charles DuVal Photography.
