Amanda Labourdette exemplifies Gallo Mechanical’s values: family, service & performance. As the New Orleans, Louisiana, HVAC coordinator and Customer Service Representative, Amanda brings a lifetime of commitment to helping others both in and out of the office. Amanda’s community engagement stretches back as far as she can remember, living by the philosophy, “if she’s got time, there’s time to help out”.
Keenly focused on Oncology research and support, Amanda supports organizations like “No One Fights Alone,” which puts on a bowling tournament that supports cancer research and patients, and has hosted the “Connecting Colson Benefit,” a fundraising event to benefit Baby Colson, who was born with undetected Esophagus Atresia & Tracheoesophageal Fistula (EA/TEF). She also participates in the “Trip Roth Foundation,” which is focused on raising money for pediatric skin deformity. Amanda is also an avid member of local softball teams that raise money for Cancer research and awareness.
Over the years, Gallo has sponsored Amanda’s softball league, bowling team, a team for the Trip Roth Foundation, and even smaller events along the way. Amanda also works together with other Gallo employees and volunteers for events such as NOLA Workforce, Jazz Fest, and The Red Dress Run. Amanda embraces her opportunities to be of service in all that she does. Amanda is not only a service coordinator at work, but she coordinates and focuses on Service in her community as well.
Gallo Mechanical, LLC started as a family-owned and operated business in 1945, and after 80 years, those firmly held values still hold true. Not only are their employees treated as family, but their clients are as well. To them, service is a two-way street. It not only dictates the quality of their work but also drives them to make a positive impact on the community.
