For nearly three decades, the Jefferson Chamber has remained committed to strengthening the business climate and enhancing the quality of life in Jefferson Parish and across the Greater New Orleans region. This dedication is reflected in our Five Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, held by only the top 2 percent of chambers nationwide, and our recognition as the Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives’ 2025 Large Chamber of the Year. Your support and investment make these achievements possible and continue to drive meaningful progress in our community.
Advocating for pro-business policies remains our top priority, and 2025 marked a year of strong momentum. We advanced key initiatives through two member delegations to Washington, consistent engagement at the State Capitol, and close collaboration with parish leaders. Weekly legislative updates kept our members informed, and our committees helped drive meaningful progress toward a more competitive business environment. We invite you to get involved and strengthen the collective voice of Jefferson Parish’s business community.
Workforce and talent development also remained central to our work. The Education and Workforce Development Committee expanded partnerships across education and industry, Leadership Jefferson graduated its 23rd class, and our Prosper Jefferson series with JEDCO provided high-value training on essential business topics. We were also proud to launch IGNITE, our inaugural Young Professionals Leadership Summit, designed to prepare the next generation of leaders for long-term growth and success.
Connection is the heart of what we do, and 2025 was our strongest membership year yet with over 1,000 members. Monthly networking events like Business and Breakfast and Business Card Exchanges continued to foster meaningful relationships, while signature events saw record-setting participation. Across more than 80 events this year, our dedicated team and volunteers helped strengthen the fabric of our business community and expand opportunities for engagement.
