Motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, The New Orleans Mission works alongside those in need as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for everyone on their path to a fulfilling and addiction-free life. Serving all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. The New Orleans Mission offers specialized programs to help guide clients through addiction, societal reentry, and even vocational training to help them get back on their feet through Biblical principles and support.
“When someone walks into our facility needing help or when we rescue someone from a dangerous place, we don’t see a homeless person or an addict. We see one of God’s children hurting,” says David Bottner, CEO of the New Orleans Mission.
The New Orleans Mission is a 501(c)(3) Christian Humanitarian Organization dedicated to the rescue, recovery, re-engagement, and reunite people facing homelessness, addiction, human trafficking, abuse, or mental illness.
The New Orleans Mission offers two distinctive options to address the unique needs of those they serve: a 21-day guest stay and our year-long discipleship program. The 21-day stay is able to provide immediate relief and shelter, no questions asked. The year-long discipleship program allows clients to experience a more extensive recovery, completely free of charge. Services include not just food, clothing, and shelter but also spiritual guidance, one-on-one counseling, vocational training, case management, and the opportunity for reunification with severed family relationships.
How To Help
Monetary donations are always greatly appreciated to help fund the work and care of clients. Donations of vehicles, land, or items are also very useful in helping get clients back on their feet and are the lifeblood of The New Orleans Mission’s continuing work.
