Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans: Giving Back 2025

Non-Profit

Junior Achievement USA (JA) is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for the future, and make smart academic and economic choices.

Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans provides volunteer-delivered programs for youth ages K-12 and young adults up to age 25 that utilize experiential learning to inspire students in our community to dream big and reach their potential.

Celebrating its 70th anniversary of inspiring students across Southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi, JA of Greater New Orleans hopes to soon reach another titanic milestone: our one millionth student served. By offering innovative and inspirational programs to prime the youth of today to become the entrepreneurs and business leaders of the future, JA of Greater New Orleans has crafted a lasting, quantifiable legacy of success. JA’s proven lessons in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship are shown to positively impact the lives of young people, with research showing JA alumni to be more likely to have a college degree, feel confident managing money, have career success, and have started a business as an adult. With one million students and counting, JA’s work is only just beginning, with its promise as boundless as their unyielding belief in the potential of young people to be dreamers and achievers in all aspects of their lives.
