NEW ORLEANS (press release) — Broadway in New Orleans, presented by Entergy, has announced the 2024-25 schedule of Broadway performances coming to the Saenger Theatre beginning this October. The upcoming season, which will kick off with Tony-award-winning Girl From the North Country, includes the New Orleans debuts of & Juliet, Beetlejuice and The Cher Show, as well as performances of Funny Girl, The Wiz, Mamma Mia! and Hamilton. This season’s options are Elf and Chicago.
“This season’s lineup is unmatched in scale, quality of performance and variety of offerings,” said David Skinner, general manager of the Saenger. “Theater fans old, young and young at heart are sure to find new favorites or relive a timeless classic during the 2024-25 season. Year after year, these shows are enthusiastic about their time in New Orleans, thanks to our hospitable fans who welcome the familiar and celebrate the new.”
New subscriptions are expected to go on sale in late April. Prices start at $269 for the seven-show package. Subscribers have the opportunity to add on Hamilton to make an eight-show package starting at $308. Subscriber prices will vary depending on the show time, day of the week and seating location. Subscriber benefits include access to the best seats available, priority access to additional tickets and ticket exchange privileges.
