NEW ORLEANS — Tri-Parish Works Business & Career Solutions and St. Tammany Recreation District #1/Pelican Park will host the 2018 Northshore Fall Fest Job Fair on October 16. This annual event promises to connect employers and job seekers in one of the region’s largest annual job fairs.
Area businesses are encouraged to register for their space as soon as possible. Registration is available online by visiting www.triparishworks.net/events. Employers have already begun signing up for this event as we anticipate several hundred qualified job seekers will attend the Job Fair.
“Last year’s event with more than 600 job seekers proved to be one of the largest and most successful Job Fairs ever held in the area,” said Workforce Systems Operator for Tri-Parish Works Jennifer Barnett. “We anticipate similar, if not better, results at the this year’s event as well.” The Northshore Fall Fest Job Fair is one of the many value-added business services provided by Tri-Parish Works that strives to assist employers in finding those qualified matches for their job openings.
The Northshore Fall Fest Job Fair will be open to all direct employers and will host some other community resources at the Castine Center, 63350 Pelican Dr. in Mandeville. The Job Fair is free for both employers and job seekers, provides ample parking, and will be open on October 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
