The Fillmore New Orleans to Host Job Fair this Weekend
NEW ORLEANS - The Fillmore New Orleans will host a job fair at House of Blues New Orleans in an effort to hire over 100 employees as the newest venue in town prepares to open its doors in February 2019.
It takes place on Saturday, Jan. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., inside the Music Hall of the House of Blues New Orleans (225 Decatur St.).
Interested applicants should bring their resumes and be prepared for onsite interviews. Applicants must be 21 or older. For those not able to attend the job fair, applications are being accepted at www.livenation.com/careers.
The original Fillmore, which opened in 1965, was the epicenter of the American music scene during the 1960s and 70s, promoting the who’s who of iconic musical acts such as Aretha Franklin, Grateful Dead, Miles Davis, Jefferson Airplane, Cream, Santana, The Doors, Janis Joplin, and many others. The New Orleans Fillmore pays homage to the original club’s spirit with vintage posters, ornate chandeliers and velvet curtains.
Live Nation Clubs & Theater division promotes nearly 15,000 shows in over 125 venues across the United States.
